We’re thrilled to announce that registration is now open for the 2026 Len Atkins Memorial Golf Tournament. This is the signature fundraiser for The Len Atkins Project, our 501(c)(3) dedicated to raising awareness, education, and early screening for colorectal cancer.
The holidays can be complicated. I start thinking about all the things we used to do, the laughs we had. Everything from Len drinking the milk and taking bites of Santa’s cookies to Davis marching downstairs at 3 years old and announcing there is no Santa Claus because he did not see him come down the chimney. The look on Len’s face and the dejection I felt were indescribable.
As I was considering a blog topic this month, I couldn’t help but think about October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It’s such a powerful movement that paints the world pink and reminds us how awareness can truly make a difference. Of course, March is Colon Cancer Awareness Month — our time to shine blue and amplify the message of screening, prevention, and hope. But what about the other eleven months of the year?
