We started with a single goal
In 2020, what began as a simple idea among friends and family has grown into something much larger than we could have ever imagined.
We started with a single goal: to raise money and awareness for colorectal cancer. At the time, our vision was modest—a fundraiser in memory of my husband, Len Atkins, to honor his life and legacy while helping others facing the same battle.
But as the years passed, the Len Atkins Project evolved.
It became more than an event. It became a mission.
Len Atkins Memorial Golf Tournament
The Len Atkins Memorial Golf Tournament is a charitable fundraiser dedicated to raising awareness, education, and screening efforts for colorectal cancer. The proceeds support two key organizations—Fight Colorectal Cancer, funding disease research, and Man Up to Cancer, providing chemotherapy backpacks to those in need
Our Work
Today, our work continues not only to create awareness about colorectal cancer but also to support organizations doing critical work in the fight. We are proud to assist groups like Man Up to Cancer, which provides vital support to men on their cancer journey, and Fight Colorectal Cancer, which funds groundbreaking research aimed at prevention, treatment, and, one day, a cure.
The Len Atkins Memorial Project was founded to carry forward Len’s spirit of strength and kindness. Every gift helps us raise awareness, fund research, and support families impacted by colorectal cancer right here in Middle Tennessee.
